Why were you looking for a new digital solution?
What problem were you facing?

During the manufacture and assembly of our thermal management systems, we document a wide range of information about each product, such as serial numbers of sub-components, quality checks, set and measured pressures, etc.

We also pass on some of this information to our customers, or are even obliged to do so.

In the past, we recorded the information on a paper document and provided it to customers in digital form upon request.

Some of the problems with this were:

  • Manual documentation was prone to errors.
  • Transferring the information took a lot of time.
  • The data was not available to the customer as standard, and there was no guarantee that the information could be found on the respective product in the long term.
 

Why did you choose ECHO PRM?

It started with the question of a digital nameplate. And not just for after delivery, but also for collecting production-related information.

ECHO PRM listened very carefully to our problems and then expanded the existing software solution with relevant functions for our application.

What was exciting for us was that we had almost no development costs to pay for this, because ECHO PRM didn’t ‘just’ create a solution for us, but always designed the new functions generically so that they could potentially also be suitable for other customers. The great thing for us was that we still got a solution that solved our problem exactly.

 

What has improved with the implementation of ECHO PRM?

All documentation relating to our production, data management and, of course, the creation of our nameplates has been completely digitised. Errors are now virtually non-existent, and our speed has increased noticeably.

In addition, neither we nor our customers ever need to search for information for long anymore: we have all the data in the ECHO PRM database, and our customers can easily read and access it via QR code.

 

How satisfied were you with the support when there were open issues or problems?

I can truly say that both the speed of response to problems and the solutions provided are truly exceptional.

 

Is there anything else to mention?

The combination of a fully validated and therefore very stable solution, many excellent standard functions and adaptations to our processes – that’s what makes ECHO PRM so special.
